How to control when detentions are scheduled
This guide will explain how to control when detentions are scheduled.
Once you have set up detention types with defaultÌý³Ù¾±³¾±ð²õÌý²¹²Ô»åÌýdates, you can choose how detentions are scheduled.
To control how detentions are automatically scheduled throughout your school, click on the three lines menu in the top right-hand corner and select School Settings from the list of available options.
From the School Settings page, click on the Detentions tab on the left-hand side of the screen and select Detention options.
You will be presented with the Automatically awarded detentions section. The available settings are explained below:
Automatically schedule detentions awarded by intelligence events
Enabled: Detentions awarded through intelligence events will be scheduled automatically based on your school’s default detention date settings.
Disabled: Detentions awarded through intelligence events aren’t scheduled for a specific date, appearing in the Unscheduled section of the detentions manager instead.
Automatically schedule upscaled detentions
Enabled: Detentions awarded through upscaling will be scheduled automatically based on your school’s default detention date settings.
Disabled: Detentions awarded through upscaling aren’t scheduled for a specific date, appearing in the Unscheduled section of the detentions manager instead.
Allow clashes when automatically scheduling detentions
Enabled: Automatically scheduled detentions will ignore detention clashes.
Disabled: Automatically scheduled detentions will be rescheduled to the next available slot if a clash is detected.
