The Academy at Shotton is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Teacher of MFL(French) to join our dedicated Modern Foreign Languages team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher or a newly qualified ECT to develop their career in a supportive and ambitious school

The successful candidate will:
· Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is on track to achieve this (ECTs welcome)
· Have experience of teaching in a subject area.
· Have excellent IT skills.
· Be proactive and self-motivated.
· Have a flexible approach to work.

The Academy at Shotton Hall is a fully comprehensive Academy in Peterlee which provides a vibrant and stimulating environment for 11 – 16 year olds. In our most recent Ofsted inspection we were judged to be 'Outstanding' - the highest accolade a school can achieve.
Our school which opened (with much excitement) in January 2011 is a fantastic environment for children to learn in, offering them state-of-the-art equipment and facilities to enhance their education.
