We are now looking for an outstanding Secondary Humanities Teacher to join our team from August 2025.
The role
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality lessons in Humanities subjects (Geography, History, Global Perspectives, etc.) for secondary school students.
- Plan and implement a curriculum that meets both Cambridge International and school-specific requirements.
- Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to engage students and foster critical thinking.
- Track and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and support for individual learning needs.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching strategies into classroom practice.
- Participate actively in the school’s pastoral care and co-curricular programmes.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support cross-curricular initiatives and whole-school projects.
- Contribute to the school’s commitment to academic excellence, student well-being, and Inspired Education values.
The successful candidate should have:

You must meet the following requirements for a visa or working permit:
- 4 years teaching experience
- Teacher's degree or qualification to educate
- PGCE or PGDE, UK Qualified Teacher Status or similar teaching qualification
- Proficient in English

The school follows the Peruvian curriculum and offers a bilingual education in line with the British system. In the Primary school, the Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) Cambridge Primary programme in English, Maths and Science is followed, which leads to external evaluation at the end of Primary. Humanities subjects are also taught through the English language.
In Secondary, students study a wide range of subjects that lead towards Cambridge IGCSE, and then AS Level examinations as part of the CIE Advanced International Certificate of Education (AICE).
