Position Overview:

With recognition that the Faculty and students at Bromsgrove School Mission Hills are the school’s most valuable resource, we are seeking to appoint an exemplary Physical Education Teacher to inspire and nurture the children in our Prep School programme. At present, our pupils move on to either Bromsgrove School UK for their Senior School education or to other reputable Senior Schools of choice.

Job Description:

The Physical Education teacher fulfills the mission of Bromsgrove School Mission Hills by planning, guiding, and evaluating the learning process of the students within the framework of the school's philosophy, organization, and curriculum. The Teacher provides the appropriate learning atmosphere and activities designed to maximize student competencies and skills for intellectual, emotional, physical, social, and spiritual growth. The position is hired and evaluated by the Head of School.

Mission:

To empower students to pursue excellence in its many forms and acquire the skills necessary to become critical thinking, self-actualised problems solvers and compassionate global citizens.

Qualifications:

1. University degree (BA/B.Sc) or equivalent;

2. Teacher Qualifications (B.Ed/M.Ed/PGCE/QTS) or equivalent;

3. At least two years of relevant teaching experience; 

4. English speaker.

Our campus is situated on property owned by Mission Hills and is immediately adjacent to the Mission Hills resort in Shenzhen, China. It is easily accessible by subway, and only 45 minutes from Shenzhen City Centre. Hong Kong Island is just 2 hours away from our door.
