About You:
Thistley Hough Academy is looking for a passionate and forward-thinking educator to join our vibrant team. As an expert in Health and Social Care and Travel and Tourism, you will play a crucial role in delivering engaging lessons and developing innovative curricula. Your ability to foster a supportive and stimulating learning environment will ensure students achieve their highest potential. You will also contribute to the overall progress and development of students, working collaboratively to enhance educational standards and promote a positive school culture.
Our ideal candidate would have:
- Qualified Teacher Status with a degree in a relevant subject.
- Experience of teaching in a mainstream secondary education environment.
- Experience of teaching vocational subjects at Key Stage 4.
- Knowledge of relevant exam board specifications of vocational subjects.
- Be student centred with good interpersonal skills.

Welcome to Thistley Hough Academy – a community school in the heart of Penkhull, Stoke-on-Trent. Thistley Hough was first opened in 1938 and over the last seven decades scores of local children have been successfully educated at Thistley Hough.
