Welcome to Scots
At Scots, boys learn how to live with brave hearts and bold minds, in the world. The Scots College honours the learning and adventures of boys, providing experiences of excellence to build boys' strength of character.
The Scots College is one of the oldest and most reputable boys' schools in Australia. Scots is a non-selective Presbyterian GPS boys' school for day and Boarding students. We draw students from across Sydney, New South Wales and many different nations from around the world.
Scots' Brave Hearts Bold Minds education philosophy recognises the need for a special journey and adventure in the hearts of young boys and men. Our development-stage-relevant models of learning seek to make every day in a Scots boy's life part of an exciting adventure. Our College vision is singularly focused on the education, nurture and development of fine Scots boys who will generously learn, lead and serve in the community.
Our state-of-the-art facilities and innovative programs encourage boys to persevere, persist and achieve personal success.
"This College has a big picture. We can see the forest and not just the trees; we have a vision concerning educational excellence that stands alone in its richness and boldness," said Dr Ian PM Lambert, The Scots College Principal.
"We aim to equip all different types of boys with Brave Hearts and Bold Minds that will prepare them for the challenge of a meaningful life and provide them with a chest full of confidence."
