Key Responsibilities:
Teach IB Science subject in accordance with IB curriculum standards
Develop and deliver inquiry-based lessons, fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Implement practical experiments and laboratory activities that enhance students’ scientific understanding.
Support students in their Internal Assessments and Extended Essays related to Science.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance interdisciplinary learning across different subject areas.
Assess and provide constructive feedback to students to ensure academic progress.
Engage in extracurricular activities and support science-related clubs or projects.
Participate in ongoing professional development and school-wide initiatives.
Requirements:
A degree in Science, specializing in Physics, Chemistry, or Biology.
Teaching qualification and relevant IB teaching experience required.
Ability to teach multiple science subjects or specialize in one.
Experience in international or IB schools.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Commitment to student-centered learning and the IB philosophy.
We welcome applications from teachers who have experience teaching either all three science subjects or a single specialization within Physics, Chemistry, or Biology.
