Staff on the iPGCE are experienced teachers, offering practical feedback that can support the development of your classroom practice.  Tes Institute’s iPGCE is very much a course run by teachers for teachers.

We try to be flexible

The course is flexible with plenty of study time built into the calendar and different durations so you can pick what works best for you.  All sessions are online, which makes it easier to offer such bespoke flexibility.

We value our academic community

There are group study sessions and a dedicated collaborative area so that learners can interact with each other, sharing teaching ideas and research interests.   

We also hold a regular ‘Catch Up’ should you want a more informal place to meet with peers online.

We enable you to hone your expertise in areas of teaching that interest you

The iPGCE requires you to write two assignments and you will be able to choose your area of focus for both.  This will enable you to research aspects of practice that really matter to you.

We work with the world in mind

We are always looking to develop the course as a community of international teachers. 

Our subscription to VEO enables learners to share practice with others, giving us an insight into teaching around the word. 

Additionally, there is a timetable of lectures at different times and sessions are always opt-in so that you can find a way to work that fits with your time zone and working demands.

Tes Institute’s iPGCE is adapted to your teaching experience.
