Unit plan for a short narrative based on a Usborne published The Story of Robin Hood by Rob Lloyd Jones. Focus on dialogue and creating atmosphere. Follows a cycle of reading, text analysis, grammar, plan, write and improve. The text is short so this allows the children to extend sections by adding description or creating atmosphere. The resource includes support for low ability and SEND children.

Lessons include: The 5 Pillars of Islam, The 6 Articles of Faith, How Muslims pray, Features of a Mosque, Importance of the Quran, The Eid festivals, The importance of the afterlife. There is also an additional art lesson looking at Islamic art and geometric design. The lessons have been loosely based on Leicester local authority non-statutory guidance for the RE curriculum.

Times table test activity. Children listen to the voiceover and answer the simple times table questions within a set time limit.
