Unit plan for a short narrative based on a Usborne published The Story of Robin Hood by Rob Lloyd Jones. Focus on dialogue and creating atmosphere. Follows a cycle of reading, text analysis, grammar, plan, write and improve. The text is short so this allows the children to extend sections by adding description or creating atmosphere. The resource includes support for low ability and SEND children.
