However it does follow on from separate lessons on Chile and Nepal , I have included video links to illustrate these. The main activity is a variation of the revision quilt idea with students asked to pick out the key facts of each example and classify appropriately. Answer keys are included to ensure live feedback can be given. The worksheets are editable and can be completed digitally if required and so are ideal for home learning use.

Designed to be used after the unit has been taught to summarise the important information. The Granite sheets covers the challenging process of hydrolysis as well as present day freeze-thaw action in an accessible way. Chalk sheets covers rock folding, differential erosion and moves onto the location of spring line villages. Sheets are in simple black and white format for easy photocopying. Designed for the 9-1 AQA Geography Exam. A complete lesson based on the Thar Desert as a case study for the Opportunities and Challenges section. The lesson contains a video link that covers the case study in detail. This is supported by a scaffolded exam question which includes an answer sheet. The lesson combines a memorable case study with a structured assessment activity. The examiner reports identifies that students found applying specific information to this question was problematic for many and the scaffolded exam question addresses this issue. They all remember the golden rat!
An alternative/complementary lesson based on the Oxford textbook is available separately.
