practical involving using benedict’s solution to detect glucose in aqueous samples. Less messy than food tests, and has the clinical biochemistry lab scenario slant. Presentations in powerpoint, keynote and a pdf copy. Hope it is of some use to someone, somewhere.

GCSE chemistry I was experimenting with this new style of wordsearch (for me) where the student colours in the correct letters. I guess this gives a more attractive overall result.

I made an infographic about sn1 & sn2 (just for my own amusement), then turned it into a fill in the boxes exercise.

I wanted a scaleable vector graphic of the blast furnace. Since I could only find low resolution ones on the web I drew my own in affinity designer. Then I turned it into a labelling exercise. Hope someone can use it. NB if you want an editable version, feel free to contact me via my web site.

I made a crazy interactive widget thingy to test key concepts in chemistry, with 50 multiple choice questions. Just click on the correct answer. Instant feedback is given and the widget keeps a tally of the score. Just for fun really.
