Radicalisation and Critical Thinking topic

(0)
A full scheme of work introducing students to radicalisation and how it can be avoided through applying critical thought. Through teaching students how to spot logical fallicies in politics, religion and social, they can be better equipped to avoid adopting extreme worldviews. Unit includes five lessons, a work booklet and an end of unit assessment. This could be used for PSHE lessons or RPE lessons, aimed at students between 14 and 18. This ties in strongly to teaching British values of independent thought and inclusiveness. It also links strongly with the goals of PREVENT.
