Culture Research Task
This is a 3 page worksheet resource which includes 4 different activities. Students will need a device to complete the research. Depending on the length/quality of answers this should take around 2 lessons. Could also be given as homework.

Fraction worksheets
These are three worksheets that focus on finding the fraction of a whole number, adding fractions and subtracting fraction. It gives a description and example at the top on how to do it so not you hardly need to front load before using these.

Measurement Research Task
This is a very good adaptable task where it can be used to complete at home, in class or split between both. It gets students to practice their measurement skills by using a ruler and finding perimeters. There is an example sheet included as well as the worksheet needed to find the information and a printout for the poster part.

Map Skills
This is a great resource for getting students to practice applying FACKTS to maps. It includes instructions and a blank map to complete the activity. There is also a teacher example of what a completed map should look like.

Student Led P.E
This is a lesson where students plan their own P.E lesson. It gets them to come up with a warm-up, game and cool down. This lesson is great as it can help you plan out a whole terms worth of P.E using these student led lessons.

Comparing and Contrasting
This is a reading worksheet that focuses on comparing and contrasting. There are 3 pages worth of activities to do that includes reading text and explaining answers in their own words.

Similes and Metaphors
This is a 2 page worksheet that gets students to practice using metaphors and similes so that they can remember what each is.

Decimal Worksheets
These are two decimal worksheets that gets students to also use their knowledge of percentages, fraction, addition and subtraction. The two worksheets also have answer sheets so that students can self or peer mark.

Christmas Worksheets
This includes 3 worksheets. One for math, one for reading and one one for writing. Each worksheet should take around 30 minutes minimum depending on student ability. They are all based around Christmas.

Brain and Nervous System
This is a one lesson PowerPoint about the Brain and the Nervous System. It has includes information that can be copied and summarised. Additionally, it has a drawing task and a plenary at the end. To add more to this lesson, you could include watching a Youtube clip or doing a quiz.

Homework Choiceboard
This is a choiceboard that includes 5 tasks for reading, writing and mathematics. The math tasks are based around multiplication, division, addition and subtraction.

Causes of WW1
These are two worksheets based around the long-term and short-term causes of WW1. It includes summarising, finding the definitions and unscrambling words.

Create a Poem
This is a slide that gets students to practice using figurative language when creating a poem. There are four different types of figurative language they must include in their poem as well as a marking schedule for them to follow. Part of the task also gets students to write out their poem onto A4 paper in order for the completed work to be displayed.

Student Lesson
This is a powerpoint where students have to create their own mini lesson (like a teacher) about a subject. This resource can be adapted so that students teach a specific topic from your subject. Once the students have completed the panning stages of their lesson then they can teach it. Depending on group size/time you may want the class to vote on the best lesson so that you do not have to fit in all group lessons.
It is perfect as an end of term/end of year task!

World Map Lesson
This task gets students to locate different countries and seas on a world map. It then gets them to practice completing a map so that it includes at title, colour, scale, key and border.

First day activity
This is a great activity for the first few days of school. It is also a great writing sample to figure out where your students are at.

First week back - Writing
This is a great task for students to complete in their first week back at school after a term break. It gets them to practice using good language in their work.
