5 Activities Based around Rap music that i have used to engage some hard to engage students

This resource gets students to research and write short speeches. It can be used for EL2 to L2. I used it with lower ability post 16 students but can be adapted for higher ability.

I have adapted this from an old Food Tech lesson I used to do, catering on a budget. This would also be good for Life skills. It is aimed at post 16 students but could be used for 14+ students. I have left it so you can alter prices and budgets. Prices are from Supermarket websites. The recipe book for the meals is included in 3 files that can be stapled together with your own cover.

The whole book is written phonetically, as in the first piece of text, from the point of view of the main character who has learning difficulties. ISBN 978-1-4598-0016-8. It is available on Amazon.

I have also included an A3 version of the map. The answers to the on route questions are on the last page so remember not to print that out. Could also be used for cover lesson.
