Here are 23 different schemes of work for a range of sports taught in British schools. These schemes of work have been created by working PE teachers and are tried and proven. Each SOW has week by week topic, learning objectives for each topic, warm up (teacher and pupil led), multiple tasks for around 1 hour, recommended learning check / assessment methods and also states common topic misconceptions as well as metacognitive ideas to help student retain information. Some SOW’s have resources but most are resource free. Happy teaching :)
