Here are some of the games i made up to use with my class before the phonics screening test. They do support the use of the use of the read write inc phonics scheme to but can be used even if you dont teach this scheme. Please if you find the time leave a review. Many thanks for buying.

Here is the story map i used with my class to help teach the story Lost and Found by Oliver Jeffers. At the end of the teaching sequence the children completed an assessed independent write changing parts of the story, such as the animal or the transport used to travel. My class loved seeing the story maps on the wall to decorate our classroom and constantly retold the story. I have also added some extra worksheets i used to help build up writing skills and sentence structure with my class before they completed their big write. Here is the story map that i did in my second week following the story The Three Little Pigs. I changed the characters in the story then i showed them a story map. These lessons can be done in any order before allowing the children to independently write their own adapted version. Thanks for looking

I have also included a tick chart to monitor students that may require movement breaks to support their behaviour. This chart can be used to evidence the need for 1:1 support in the classroom. To use the social story pick a page and write the child’s name under each person character. You can also provide this to the support staff at lunchtime/ break time to support the child with making the right choices on the playground. Here is a resource i have made for my class to recap place value style questions in maths. There is a total of 15 days worth. I display this on the board as a morning starter and then go through the answers with the children on the Interactive Whiteboard before starting my lesson. Here is a resource I have created to use as a display on a door or wall. This can be used as the children arrive into the classroom as a fun way to learn tricky words,letters or sounds, number bonds, numbers as words or timetables.
