This booklet has all you need to teach C10 topic. Either as first up teaching or as a revision and review piece of work. It has a good mix of given theory and information as then lost of integrated tasks and activities to continually test understanding as the students go through the topic. Then at the end are some past paper questions to link with exam practice.

I have made this for my Yr 9 students as an introduction from KS3 into GCSE but would work equally well with Yr8 and even Yr 10 students dependent upon ability. Covers scientific method-hypothesis and prediction-variables from basic IV/DV/CV as well as discrete and continuous-method writing and evaluation-results table design and use with anomolies and averages-graphing including bar charts and line graphs-conclusions and ext work on describing graphs (DO be careful on formatting it is all set up for my ICT system but may need little tweak for different versions of word) Enjoy

This is pretty much what it says on the tin A revision pwpt to take you though the main sections of the new 9-1 chemistry section of the combined science course, topics c1 (atomic structure) and C2 periodic table. About 25 slides with a whole lot of basic info given I am using as some of the last minute revision lessons with smaller groups of students. More coming in next days.
