Pro et contra - the element of the scientific method
Teaching the scientific method in high school is essential for helping students think critically and solve problems effectively. By learning how to observe, form hypotheses, conduct experiments, and analyze data, students gain valuable skills for understanding and exploring the world. This knowledge not only enhances their understanding of science but also equips them to make informed decisions based on evidence, which is crucial in today's society.
This activity is multidisciplinary and can be used to develop skills in developing a scientific approach to perceiving the world, as well as to add variety to the type of class activity and increase the level of involvement of students in the learning process.

Ecosystems and Biomes with AI
This resource provides a one-lesson plan designed to teach students about ecosystems and biomes using a Large Language Model (LLM), such as ChatGPT. Students analyse hypothetical chains of ecological consequences generated by the LLM in response to user-defined initial actions, culminating in effects on a chosen local animal.
Designed primarily for biology lessons, the resource is also suitable for geography, environmental science, and interdisciplinary teaching.
Access to an LLM is required; the lesson cannot be conducted without it.
