VE Day Victory in Europe 80th Anniversary Triorama Craft Celebrate Victory in Europe with this fun, easy to make craft. This year is extra special because it’s the 80th anniversary of VE Day. In England, there will be many street parties, parades, and special events to remember this important day. People will hang bunting (small flags on string), wave Union Jack flags, and enjoy tea parties. During VE Day celebrations (5th May - 8th May), we remember the brave people who helped win the war. We also think about how happy everyone was when peace came at last. Many towns will have: Street parties with tables full of food Music from the 1940s People dressed in old-time clothes Special church services The sounding of bells The four days of celebration (5-8 May) give us time to learn about history and say thank you to the people who lived through those hard times. Includes a page that can be used for future years. Instructions for the craft are included.
