Here are some sample end of year report comments to be used with a year 3 class (could be easily adapted up or down). The comments cover reading, writing, speaking and listening and are differentiated. Enjoy resting your brain!

A template that children can use to design their own game using a magnet. I used this resource as part of the science springs and magnets unit with Year 3, but this is easily transferable to other year groups.

This is a 24 slide resource to introduce rounding to the nearest 10. There are explanations and examples as well as activities for the students. This is aimed at Year 2/3 children.

A very simple sheet I used with my ESL Kinder/Reception class. Children estimate then use their hand span to measure different classroom objects. They record in the table. A quick and easy resource to use as an introduction or independent activity.

A great thinking skills activity. Children to decide which is the odd one out from 3 given pictures, and explain their reasoning. I used this from Year 1 up as an early morning activity and also time filler. Children should be reminded that there are no wrong answers as long as their answer can be justified. I have heard some amazing ideas during this activity - enjoy!

A cut and paste resource for children learning about sorting and classifying. Children decide where to stick the given pictures based on the criteria.

A cut and paste activity to reinforce features of an advert in persuasive text units. Designed for LA Year 3 children. Children paste the examples under the subheadings and then write in some examples of their own (could be provided by the teacher)

3 differentiated levels. Worksheets reinforce partitioning to add using a numberline. Resource could be used to prepare children for mental strategies of addition. Worksheet includes an example for the children to refer to.

These resources ca be used to support the teaching of personification in poetry. I used these resources with a Year 3 class however they could be used up to Year 5.

This is a worksheet designed for year 3/4 when teaching explanatory texts. Each page has a different picture for the children to use, they will both describe what can be seen and explain what is happening in the picture. Resource can be used at any point in the unit.

Children locate right angles within the classroom. They record their findings in the table and then use their knowledge to visualize whether certain objects have right angles. Used in Year 2/3.

A variety of games, activities and resources for teaching basic Spanish. When I made these, one of the topics was teeth but these can be easily adapted to suit any topic. I made these resources for Year 3 but could be used from Year 1 up.
