This resource is aimed at Year 4 children during their non-chronological topic looking at explanation texts. It is beneficial for the children to be able to write their explanation text in the same format they would read an explanation text in as opposed to simply writing it out in their books. This template could also be used for a variety of other lessons.

This worksheet belongs with it's original full resource set which you can find on my profile that comes with a differentiated worksheet, and a lesson plan. An activity worksheet for Year 6 Geometry: Properties of Shapes in relation to 3-D nets and 2-D shapes. It comes with two documents, one is a Worksheet which gives space for the answers/drawings, the other is a Task List with the same activities but the work itself will be done in their books. This worksheet as it stands is more of a free taster, but there is no reason why it cannot be used on its own.

This resource can be used in a Drama session or before a writing task linked to The Day the Crayons Quit by Drew Daywalt. They can be teacher read in a whole group for younger children or used independently in small groups.

This resource is designed to be laminated and cut out to use regularly in the classroom. The cards can be handed out to children silently during lessons to address behaviour privately and without interrupting the lesson. The card encourages the child to consider the choices they are making and provide them with the opportunity to turn their behaviour around.

Worksheet to go alongside a lesson based on learning and writing the days of the week. It would work effectively with the story The Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle. The questions that follow also allow the children to consider days that come before and after, and also what they would ordinarily do on those days.

A short pirate-themed passage for the children to correct the spelling, punctuation and grammar mistakes. Ideal for KS1 but can also be used in any year group as a quick recap or those working on SPaG objectives. Two to a page and in a PowerPoint and PDF format.

This resource is perfect for anyone trying to promote the mental wellbeing of individuals or whole classes. The idea is to establish a routine of finding a positive and purposeful aspect of every day. The coversheet (one for each year group) is placed on an exercise book and would look lovely printed on coloured paper. Daily, the children write the date, one thing they have learned and one thing that has made them happy.

This resource is simply an extra practice sheet (with a separate answer sheet) for students who simply need a few more practice questions to solidify their knowledge and understanding. It is most appropriate for Year 5 however can be adapted to suit other years. Some of the questions are taken from the Rising Stars programme pupil workbooks. This sheet is handy for the student to either work on during spare time they may have/homework club, or can be set as casual homework to be gone through together or marked together at a later date. It is worth noting that I put together this sheet originally for a student who asked for more help, it was not extra work given, it was provided at their request, and that is how I wish for this sheet to be distributed to any other students.

Basic ‘colour in’ easter card. Designed to simply be folded and sent home as a ‘postcard’ but can be split to use the different parts as necessary.

Engage your Year 4 pupils in electricity with this real-world science enquiry. Pupils become ‘Circuit Detectives’, using practical equipment to investigate why a bulb won’t light, record findings, and propose solutions. Great for boosting science capital and enquiry skills!

Resources for a class display, ideal for transition day activities. Each child writes their name on the crayon and draws their picture in the circle. They then colour in the crayon. All are then laminated, lined up on 3/4 rows and placed together as though they were in a box. They can also be curved and stapled down to give a 3D effect. Add a section at the bottom to make the crayon box (this can be flat but ideally would be 3D). Print the ‘Crayon Display Text’ (you can choose either the outlined version or filled). Ensure it is printed in A3 and add to your box.

3 differentiated worksheet to summarise the story of Easter including: Ash Wednesday, Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter Sunday All worksheets inlcude a space to name the day, add a picture, and describe the importance of the day. Only the weekdays are filled in (without the corresponding Easter title) Only the weekdays with the first letter of the corresponding Easter title Weekdays with the first letter of the corresponding Easter title and sentence starters.

A simple subtraction worksheet after the children have been introduced to subtraction. This worksheet is best suited to Year 1 however the calculations could be adapted so suit different abilities or higher years. The top message can also be adapted or deleted where necessary. The document has two worksheets to one page to reduce printing/copying. The task involves the children colouring in the sums that are true/false. This resource is differenitated two ways, the first includes a variety of subtraction questions up to 45 and a second up to 20.

This resource is ideal for EYFS settings whereby the sheets are printed onto A3 or A4 and cut out so the children can physically place them in size order. They can also be used for counting or to add to displays, role play areas or small world activities. A set of sheets with objects of different sizes for children to order in terms of size. This particular resource has an animal theme, there are also a variety of other themes in my shop as well as an entire bundle of all themes. The icons themselves are from Microsoft PowerPoint under ‘Icons’ however they are only available in black and white.

Quick game to go alongside a lesson on contractions. Ideal for KS1 and any other year groups recapping contractions. Designed to be cut out as triangles. The children must pair them back up. Can be kept together with a paper clip or in a small envelope and reused. Children who finish can be challenged to beat their time to match them up. Comes in both PowerPoint and PDF format. The files also include the option of 1, 2 or 3 to a page for those needing a bigger version or to make them more suitable for group, paired and individual work. Printing them on colour may make them more appealing but may make the text harder to read for some children.

A simple resource allowing the children to use key vocabulary to describe position and direction when describing a route to take.

This resource includes a lesson plan and powerpoint for the consolidation of tables and bar charts with timings and key vocabulary. The resource is most suited to Year 4 children but could be adapted to suit other year groups. It fits well with the Bar Charts and Tables lesson that can be found in my TES shop.
