A mini classroom treasure hunt for introducing or revising Computer Systems and Technology. This activity includes 10 cards with clues/questions on and your students must find the answers using the other cards and then solve the next clue. All the answers must be written on the answer sheet and then students can use the next step instructions to solve the final secret code. The clues are designed so they can be solved in any order so pupils can do this in small teams or independently without the need to use the same card at the same time. These clues could be hidden around the classroom. Perfect for introducing the idea of technology with younger students or as revision purposes for GCSE students. A huge 36 slide presentation with Computing classroom welcome slides for spring term 2. One welcome slide for every day, can be used across multiple classes or pick and choose the ones you want to use, depending on when you see your classes. Each slide contains: A starter activity The date Keywords A short revision activity A challenge/SPAG activity or Agree/Disagree point. Please note, I have created these welcome slides to the theme of “data representation” so all starter activities and keywords are tailored to meet the data representation aspect of the GCSE Spec. However, these starter activities are great for introducing the topic or as simple refresher or recap activities if you are on a different topic currently. Or, you could simply change the date to match when you are teaching data representation. All slides are fully editable so feel free to change the keywords if more appropriate. Works well with a range of sets of the phonic flashcards and useful for consolidating children’s learning early on. This activity worksheet helps children to recognise the sounds of different words (using pictures), practice tracing the letters and then writing independently, being able to read the individual letters and then blending sounds together to form basic words.
