The loop cards can be used as tool for assessment of prior learning, progress and revision. Students need to match the question on one card with the answer on another card, like dominoes.
The answer sheet is given at the end of the document.

This booklet supports a series of lesson and is designed for Entry Level/SEND students to allow them to access the key elements of science. If used in a mixed ability class, these booklets allow students to keep pace with the rest of the class whilst personalising the challenge and support they require.
The booklet is part of a series of booklets with a variety of tasks including matching keywords and definition, scaffolding, extended answers, research and a lot of practical work with matching results tables/graphs.
Some of the diagrams have had to be removed for copyright.

A range of strategies and ideas for working with students with SEN to help engage them with their learning in the classroom.
This can be used as a starting point/summary for a department meeting. Something that a teacher can keep in their planner.
A full set of flash cards to aid revision. Question on one slide and then key responses on the following slide. These can be printed or saved on a phone to use.
All of the key topics are covered on the flash cards, including diffusion, active transport, osmosis, leaves, stomata, breathing, respiration, gaseous exchange, heart, blood, transport, blood vessels, vein, artery, capillary, homoeostasis, temperature regulation, kidneys, dialysis, glucose regulation, population, greenhouse effect, deforestation, biofuels, food production, sustainability and more.
AQA Chemistry Further Additional (C3) Revision Flash Cards provide a great resource to support students with learning the key ideas. They can print these off or use on a phone. They have a question and then the answer on the next slide. Great for final revision.
Topics covered include: periodic table, group 1 and group 7, reactivity, balancing equations, transition metals, hard and soft water, ion-exchange, water cartridges, limestone, moles, exothermic, endothermic, energy from fuels, bond energies, energy graphs, activation energy, production of ammonia, production of hydrogen
AQA Physics Further Additional (P3) Revision Flash Cards:
Question one slide and then answer on the reverse. Focuses students on the key questions in the various units covered. These can be printed or downloaded on to a phone to allow students to regularly access them.
Topics covered: x-rays, ultrasound, ct scanner, snells law, refractive index, endoscope, electromagnet, moments, centre of mass, loud speaker, lens, converging, diverge, magnets, solenoid, motor, electromagnetic induction, vision, stability, pressure, pendulum, efficiency, moments, balance, refraction,
These Bread and Butter sheets are designed to ensure that students continue to focus on the core aspects and skills within the Additional Science unit for Physics. Students complete a sheet each lesson for 15+ lessons. They can then be repeated.
Each sheet is numbered with answer sheet provided too.
Topics covered include: keywords, speed, speed graphs, half-life, calculations, symbols, definitions, units, nuclear physics, electricity,
The idea works that students should know the foundation building blocks around the edge of the page.
The task therefore is to work inwards and begin to summarise these key points in the middle, only focusing on the things they have forgotten.
The final task is to get this all on to a postcard - their revision notes to take away! This makes it all manageable for the student.
This is one topic only and the full unit can be downloaded as a complete file.

This task is designed for students to work backwards and reduce their notes for revision. Around the outside of the page are the key facts and information that are needed for the topic. Students need to condense these and/or find out more about these and make notes in the white space. Finally students then need to highlight the keywords and put then in the box in the centre.
The format is designed to convince students that they do not need to make pages and pages of notes and instead can put all their notes on the back of a post card.
This task is great followed up by a loop card activity to test knowledge or apply straight to some exam questions.
Students have their own sheets to complete on the key topics of speed, velocity, acceleration and forces.
Answer sheets are also given for peer/self assessment.
