Teachers can then optionally go through the answers as a starter the following lesson, which provides a great amount of retrieval practice throughout the year.

Bring your GCSE Psychology classroom to life with this immersive, curriculum-mapped escape room activity, designed for the OCR GCSE Psychology Paper 1 topics: Criminal Psychology, Development, Psychological Problems, and Research Methods.
Students step into the shoes of investigators, summoned to decode the abandoned files of the mysterious Dr. Siggy Frud - a rogue psychologist whose final experiment was never completed. Hidden clues, red herrings and cryptic diary entries lead students through twisted theories and tangled data to uncover the truth before time runs out.
Your students take on the role of psychological detectives, solving four interactive puzzles to unlock a final 8-digit code. Each task is tied to key content and skills - including Eysenck’s personality theory, research methods, prevalence data, and general questions across Paper 1.
Perfect as a revision activity, end-of-topic review, or an engaging lesson for rewards week, this low-prep resource uses only standard classroom equipment (pens, paper, printouts) to create a high-impact experience. You literally print out the documents, hide them around the room, and sit back whilst the psychologists get to work!
