This is a revision booklet for the Restless Earth topic in AQA A spec. The booklet has a repeat remind revise approach and is very effective in embedding key processes and case study content. This booklet gives small pieces of information and then immediately has an activity for pupils to complete. It has shown excellent results in exams for pupil who have not studied restless earth since the start of year 10. It can also be used to recap on certain sections. I find best to print out in a small A5 booklet. This is a truly engaging scheme of work which I always teach my year 9 classes close to when they choose their options. This lesson examines the formation of fold mountains and ocean trenches. It aimed at mixed ability classes for KS4 GCSE

Split into 5 lessons this series of Fairtrade content offers 9 hours of quality teaching. Lessons 1-3 look at the climate required to growing cocoa beans, involves work with climate graphs, maps and weather. Lesson 4 is a real life murder investigation of a French Journalist in Ivory Coast and Ghana as a resulting of reporting about Child Slaves from Burkina Faso used to harvest cocoa beans. Pupils then try to solve unresolved mystery of who was responsible for this death. Lesson 5- Introduces Fair Trade as a solution. Pupils investigate Kuapa KoKoo organisation and use this information to write a persuasive speech to buy Fair Trade Products.
