Bundle of paper 2 resources I’ve put on our homework portal to help students revise before paper 2. I also included past papers but haven’t included them here because of copyright. There are a range of resources included, some of which are ppt’s that could be used in class.

This is my penultimate lesson with my year 11 Citizenship class before paper 1. I printed task slides for the students as a handout to complete and takeaway. Answers included to go through a range of question type. Also includes key word recall tasks. Students are given a menu and have to choose tasks to complete from there.

Year 12 OCR A-Level lessons covering theodicy from the Problem of Evil topic. Lessons and activities on Augustine, Irenaeus and Hick, Swinburne and D.Z. Phillips. Reference is made to the two textbooks we use, Religious Studies book 1 (Hodder) and the Philosophy of Religion book (Hodder). Also included are key word recall activities and revision advice. Revision lesson that recaps key elements of theme A and practices answering a comparison source question known as a ‘which writer’ question. Includes printable resources making this a fully resourced lesson.

Lesson designed for GCSE Edexcel Citizenship to recap the key concept of democracy which is embedded throughout the syllabus. Includes full lessons worth of activities including key teaching and recall activities.

Revision resource for Edexcel Citizenship GCSE paper 1 which I designed to use during a 2.5 hour Easter revision session. Includes knowledge organisers that students can populate and take away.

Complete lesson with learning mat evaluating Plato for the OCR RS specification. Takes 1-2 lessons dependent on the group.

Complete lesson on the Theory of the Forms. Includes key information and tasks for students to complete to consolidate learning. Takes 1-2 lessons depending on the ability of the group.

Power point resource which includes lessons and resources for the Person of Jesus unit of study. Included lesson by lesson content covering all elements of the specification as well as learning mats and revision material. Also included is an essay planning activity with full lesson plan. This resource will allow you to effectivley teach this unit of work and will take approx 8 lessons.

Complete lesson on the evidential and logical problem of evil. Included is printable double sided graphic organiser worksheet that can be used by students (which I print backed A3). Also included is a comprehension mat used to further students knowledge. This resource was used during an observation lesson and was well recived by the observer.

PPT based lesson that introduces the topic of Plato for the OCR Religious Studies A-Level course. Includes an information hunt activity with all resources included. Takes 1-2 lessons depending on the group.

As part of the OCR RS A-level specification students are expected to know six key Bible passages about Jesus. This is part of the year 12 Jesus DCT topic. This resource was developed to help students learn the key teaching and their meaning. Also application of knowledge included through a bank of exam practice questions. I usually print this A3 for students to take away.

Powerpoint covering the OCR A-Level RS spec for the Ontological argument. Includes all aspects of the argument along with criticisms, knowledge test and essay question practice. Series of ppt’s designed to cover the key elements of the OCR RS A-Level specification for Plato. Includes introductory lesson, the cave, the forms, evaluation of Plato and a revision lesson. References the year 1 textbook and has worksheets included within the ppt’s that can be printed.

Complete lesson with ppt and resources from a subject review lesson. Includes PPt, graphic organiser resource and phased model 6 mark question. the lesson was well recieved by the observer.

Lesson and resources prepared for a Subject Review lesson on protesting from Theme E of the Edexcel Citizenship GCSE. Includes media clip and related questions, phased modeling of a 12-mark answer, graphic organiser worksheet.

Power point resource used with year 11 in the run-up to their Edexcel Citizenship GCSE. Resource contains lesson by lesson content along with printable resources e.g starter activities and worksheets for students to complete. Resource is clearly linked to the exam board specification.

Power Point used to revise the Christianity matters of life and death unit before their mock exam in year 10, would also be suitable for year 11. Includes key teachings from the unit as well as having discussion questions to keep learning active. Takes 1-2 lessons to complete dependent on the ability of the class.

Complete power point with printable worksheets for students for Edexcel Citizenship Theme B. Also included are practice exam questions and answers to display to student tasks. Clearly linked to course specification.

Complete revision resource with printable work sheets/activities for Theme B of the edexcel GCSE Citizenship course. Contains approx. 6-8 lessons of content depending on the ability of the group. Includes stretch and challenge tasks for higher ability students and page references for the course textbook and revision guide. Recenlty updated to reflect the current political climate. I tend to print the work sheet slides as an A3 booklet for the students to work through.
