This resource is key to helping students memorize ALL the formula. Students should display this around their house; study, bedroom, bathroom and kitchen etc. The idea being students can see this all the time. Students could also have a copy in their bags, pockets for when they are in school and have a few spare minutes. The sheet is split into different sections, and formulas are displayed in a table with the formula name and formula itself! I created this resource, as part of the ‘Back To School Activities 2018’. This resource is designed to allow students to show what trey got up to during summer and let you and fellow students get to know them, taking the idea of This Is Me from the Greatest Showman! Guarenteed to get student enagaged and excited to start the new school year… TOPTIP - Play the Greatest Showman Soundtrack in the background of student completing this activity. A great way to start the day and get back into the rhythm of classwork. Students are to complete a Skit-tell-us card. But first you need a pack of Skittles and students are to pick 3 different colours and then answer the question as shown on the first slide. They should do this in the box on their sheet, use as much colour as possible, then they can eat their Skittles. Once students have completed them you can they display them in your classroom… Then you can show us your design and students work via our social media - make sure you tag us (@AllRoundRes) and use our hashtag (#GetYourLearnOn) HAPPY BACK TO SCHOOL CREATING! Hours of fun options which you can use whenever needed as it can be used as a fun activity starter, plenary, on the last day of term, in an assembly… the options of use are endless too! It is a key knowledge test, which includes everything that the students must know for the exam. It is 84 marks. Split up into 2 sections; Theory knowledge and key things which should be included in a marketing campaign. This can be used as part of revision, or as test, to test student’s knowledge or to see what they need to further revise. There is no answers included, as each answer is varied and can be approached in many ways. Topics include revision of key terms, nature of families, purpose of families, contraception, human sexuality and religious teaching about marriage, with multiple quiz/game show style rounds, such as hot seat, quiz questions, true or false, identify the topic by the images, pictionary (which I got the students to write key aspects of the topic as part of the round on a post-it note and then collated them in a hat to pick out etc), 12 marker practice and bonus round questions for tie breakers. It allows students to reflect on what they could be doing in 5, 10 years time. The last slide, is a resource called 'Career Clouds', letting students reflect. By the time they finish high school they will look at the cloud again and see if they are on the right track to achieving their future career goals, or to see if they have completely changed their mind and career path. This resources should be shown in the first week of a student starting the year. It is designed to help students understand what a PEEL paragraph is and how they can use it in their writing, across all subjects and levels. The resource itself is split into 4 different posters/displays/worksheets. The first is a guide to show what each letter of PEEL stands for and how you form a paragraph using the acronym. It also gives simple image to illustrate the main point of the letter. The second includes a range of sentence starters for each of the letters, giving students a starting point form and write a PEEL paragraph. The third gets students to think about what they need to do when forming a peel paragraph. Giving simple questions, that students should think about and try to find out before writing the paragraph. The fourth is writing frame template to help student form and write the perfect PEEL paragraph. All slides are colour coded, in conjunction with PEEL, so each letter has its own colour. You could print them in A3 size to display around your classroom, so if students get stuck they can refer to them. Or, you could print onto one sheet and hand to students to put in their diary or stick in their books for future reference. The template page you could print a few up and pin them to a board so student can take one to help them when needed. I would suggest printing them in colour, to get maximum use of the individual colour coded letters. Included is a retrieval grid challenge starter to recap key words and some key concepts, big picture of our learning slide, learning outcomes, what the AQA exam spec says, RAG rate learning and learning concepts with an A3 revision worksheet for students to work on throughout the lesson. The lesson is designed to be teacher led, however there is opportunities to use a revision textbook and for discussion to suit your teaching style. There is also space for students to do some dual coding on the A3 revision sheet and to assess their gained knowledge and understanding by answering some exam questions. This resource is a worksheet for the Just War Theory topic, within Theme D - Religion, Peace and Conflict. Students have three sections to complete and familiarise themselves with. The first section has the 7 different conditions of the Just War Theory for students to know and understand. The second is space for students to identify any problems with the condition, this will help them with explanation and evaluation points for 12 markers etc. The final section is space for students to apply the Just War Theory to a specific war as a case study example to support their written answers, for examples WW1, WW2, Falklands or Iraq Wars etc. The resource is completely editable but designed in an easy to read, follow and complete way.
