I created this resource for BTEC Business Studies, for students to know how to answer an exam question, as to what the command word is asking them to do!
It contains all BTEC exam command words for all LEVELS! Itâs designed to be used as a display, for students to easily see and recognise what each command word means, allowing them to specifically approach and answer the question in an appropriate way.
The commands words are categorised into different colours as per grade level. So, Pass level is green, merit level is orange and distinction level is blue. Also included is a title board display sign and poster.
It suggested you print the exam commands words at 2 slides per page. To fit on a display board and to save on printing and paper. If possible laminate the slides, to get maximum use!

I created this resource to be used a display in classrooms to show and explain what a PEEL paragraph is. It is designed to help students understand what a PEEL paragraph is and how they can use it in their writing, across all subjects and levels.
The resource itself is split into 4 different posters/displays/worksheets. The first is a guide to show what each letter of PEEL stands for and how you form a paragraph using the acronym. It also gives simple image to illustrate the main point of the letter. The second includes a range of sentence starters for each of the letters, giving students a starting point form and write a PEEL paragraph. The third gets students to think about what they need to do when forming a peel paragraph. Giving simple questions, that students should think about and try to find out before writing the paragraph. The fourth is writing frame template to help student form and write the perfect PEEL paragraph.
All slides are colour coded, in conjunction with PEEL, so each letter has its own colour. You could print them in A3 size to display around your classroom, so if students get stuck they can refer to them. Or, you could print onto one sheet and hand to students to put in their diary or stick in their books for future reference. The template page you could print a few up and pin them to a board so student can take one to help them when needed. I would suggest printing them in colour, to get maximum use of the individual colour coded letters.
Checkout my other PEEL Paragraph, with a range of different planning sheets to help students plan their writing.

It includes a self-evaluation section: WWW & EBI, allowing students to make note of what they need to revise.

I created this resource for BTEC L3 Business Studies, Unit 3 â Personal and Business Finance is a FULL set of formula cards, for the Business Finance section of the exam. The resource itself is a set of flashcards, with questions on one side and the answers on the flipped side. 25 DIFFERENT FLASHACRDS!
They take up the form of flipped opposites. For example, âWhat is the formula for depreciation?â Then the answer on the reverse side. The flashcards are then flipped to âWhat does this formula calculate?â
These flashcards are great to give to students to use and revise from on the go. Have the in their pocket, so when waiting for the lesson to start they can be looking at them. Use them as starter or plenary activities, to engage the brain and help students focus revision on their weaknesses. Suggested Activity â Students play the game âHeads-Upâ â using the flashcards. Let @AllRoundRes know how you use them in your classroom!
HOW TO USE: Simply print them out, cut down the middle of the page and fold the grids together so a question (Q:) and an answer (A:) is on the same sheet, just folder down the center line. Each card has the @AllRoundRes logo and Twitter on to help!
THIS RESOURCE IS A MUST FOR ANYONE STUDYING UNIT 3! ALL FORMULAS IN ONE PLACE! SIMPLE, EASY AND EFFECTIVE REVISION ON THE GO!
This revision resource covers ALL formulas from:
*E1: Cashflow Forecasts
*E2: Break-even analysis
*F1: Statement of Comprehensive Income
*F2: Statement of Financial Position
*F3: Measuring Profitability
*F4: Measuring Liquidity
*F5: Measuring Efficiency
I would suggest if possible printing in colour (to keep the colour code) and in A4 onto card, for extra sturdiness.
