A new PSHE lesson for this academic year. This lesson involves exploring the nature of grief and the different emotions someone might feel when they lose a person that they care about.
The aims of this lesson are:
- To identify a variety of emotions someone might experience when they have lost somebody close.
- To create a ‘toolkit’ to help deal with grief.
- To explain where someone can go to get help after a bereavement.
This includes a ready-to-teach PowerPoint presentation with worksheet and activities embedded. Also included is a teacher CPD page due to the nature of teaching a difficult topic.
This is suitable for KS3 or KS4. This lesson is accessible for specialist and non-specialist PSHE teachers and is ready to use.
This lesson can be taught stand-alone or as part of the topic ‘A Better World For Myself And Others’. More resources can be found on my author page.
