September 2025 is the start for the Pearson BTEC AAQ in Health & Social Care Unit 1 Human Lifespan Development complete delivery teaching package, adaptable to suit your teaching style for A1.5 Middle Adulthood.
This unit is completely resourced in individual packages also on TES.

This package has 76-slide presentation with pause points and lots of teacher guidance in the Ppt notes, to support teachers that are out-of-subject. Included is also a 31-page student booklet with activities and exam practice tasks. There are 2X 9-mark questions to practice using PEE as an answering technique and accompanying student-friendly mark scheme as a learning tool.

The content covered is:
A1.5.1 Physical growth eg. perimenopause, menopause
A1.5.2 Intellectual eg. verbal and reasoning skills
A1.5.3 Emotional eg. priorities, empty nest, libido
A1.5.4 Social development eg. retirement, more socialising time

C1.3 Depression, inactive/sedentary lifestyle
C2.2 NHS health check, blood pressure, early cancer screening
