The children are given the opening lines (mostly 2) of a poem based around the sea, about creatures, people, pirates and sea features eg rockpools. Are you ever stuck for ideas to help promote the learning of spellings? This 20 page PDF file consists of a variety of activities children will enjoy doing to help them learn their spellings.
