A further presentation is attached of a Christmas star linked to 7 different activities in the "future proche". This is great to revise the future tense in different verb forms. Also included is a reading activity describing the 8 reindeers which revises descriptions us using adjectives and superlatives There is a short starter activity about what you want for Christmas. Pupils then use the model to either talk or write about what they want for Christmas.

This is a resource pack to challenge pupils and build their reading skills. The word cloud contains over 30 weather expressions whereby pupils demonstrate their understanding of a variety of tenses and higher weather expressions. The second reading resource is a European forecast of 11 countries weather predictions. Pupils read the reports and complete 3 exercises. The first is a grammar exercise whereby pupils identify all the verbs in the future tense and then select 3 expressions to convert from the future to the past. The second exercise contains 12 comprehension questions relating to the weather reports. The third exercise pupils find 12 expressions in the text. Pupils are able to revise countries, the future tense and weather expressions. The resources are easy to print and would be suitable for classwork, homework and cover work.

Pupils listen to a popular song from Toy Story and fill in the missing verbs in the imperfect tense. They then demonstrate understanding of the lyrics by finding key phrases. They also reflect on their learning and the strategies they have used.

A template and vocab frame for pupils to write about their idol including their name, age, date of birth, place of birth, nationality, eye colour, hair colour, size, job and character description. The vocab sheet is easy to edit and also includes a writing frame for pupils to produce their own work. The vocab covered is high frequency vocab.
