Silent Night - arrangement for Upper Voices and String ensemble!

(0)
This is a beautiful and delicate arrangement of Silent Night for two upper voice parts (SA or SS) and string ensemble. Perfect for a Christmas concert or carol service. The string parts would work for intermediate to advanced players and are Grade 3+ standard. I have also included the MP3 of the full arrangement, as well as the MP3 without voices. If you email me proof of purchase, I will happily send you the Musescore file so that you can tweak for your choir/ensemble! kirstenparry12@gmail.com

Here are lessons 29-39 of my AoSA scheme of work, which complement the long-term plan I have uploaded separately and in this pack. Please do edit and tweak as appropriate for your classes. Keep an eye on the notes, as I have put links/notes on quite a few of my slides. Enjoy the elf on the shelf memes - they sustain my pupils first thing on a Monday morning! The integrated videos should work on your device/s but if they don’t, the Youtube links are in the notes for each slide. Wider reading/worksheets are also included, apart from those I did not make myself. Includes suggested homework tasks. Lessons 29-30 - The Creatures of Prometheus Lesson 31 - Musicianship (ft. Beethoven’s Eroica Variations) Lessons 32-33 - Beethoven 3 (Eroica) Lessons 34-35 - Beethoven 5 Lesson 36 - Musicianship - circle of fifths Lessons 37-39 - Beethoven 6 (Pastoral) ** If you find my lessons useful, please keep an eye on my page as I will be selling the rest of my lessons for AoSA in bundles (I have around 60 lessons in total!)** Any questions please email! - kirstenparry12@gmail.com Hope this is helpful!

Huge Big Band Christmas medley!

This is a super fun arrangement I created, of 4 different well-known Christmas songs, for Big Band and vocalists. Songs and instruments are listed below. A standard performance lasts for around 5m45s. It is so much fun to perform and really shows a range of styles. Perfect for an intermediate-advanced school Jazz Band or Big Band. Songs: Have yourself a merry little Christmas Baby it’s cold outside Rockin’ around the Christmas tree Jingle Bell Rock Parts included: Alto sax 1 Alto sax 2 Tenor sax 1 Tenor sax 2 Bari sax Trumpet 1 Trumpet 2 Trumpet 3 Trumpet 4 Trombone 1 Trombone 2 Trombone 3 Voice x2 (but can be split into 3/4 parts) Piano Bass Drums Guitar chords over the vocal line If you email me proof of purchase, I will gladly send you the Musescore file! Danny Boy - arrangement for Upper Voices and String Ensemble!

This is a lovely arrangement of the traditional Irish song Danny Boy. It works really well for an upper voice choir and has two choral lines, accompanied by piano and string ensemble. The string parts are suitable for players Grade 4 and above. If you email me proof of purchase, I would be delighted to send you the Musescore file alongside the MP3s and PDFs in this pack, so that you can tweak if necessary! Included are PDFs and MP3s of every part as well as the full score! kirstenparry12@gmail.com

This is a mammoth arrangement of Show Yourself from the wonderful Frozen 2. This pack includes the full orchestral score, SATB+piano, and separate parts alongside MP3s of the arrangement with and without voices. I used Musescore 4 to create this arrangement and the sound packs are really good. Perfect for an SATB choir with or without orchestra - it’s all there for you as a backing track or arrangement either way. The arrangement includes the following parts: Solo voice Soprano Alto Tenor Bass Violins Violas Cellos Double bass Piano 1 Piano 2 Guitar Bass guitar Triangle Cymbal Drumkit Bass drum Gong Horn in F Trumpet in Bb Trombone If you email me proof of purchase I will happily send you the Musescore file, which can’t be uploaded onto Tes!

AoSA Dev of Symphony full scheme of work PLAN!

I can’t confirm its success just yet as I’m only halfway through teaching it! But hopefully it helps others who are new to teaching the Development of the Symphony. Each lesson on the plan has a PowerPoint that I have made - I will upload the first few free for a taster, then will likely sell in bundles as they took me forever and I made them from scratch! I’ve cut a few lessons and will likely cut a few more (we have just finished the Mendelssohn so heading into the romantic symphonies next week). I’m a bit maximalist when it comes to planning, then cut down as I go. I get 5x55 mins a fortnight with my class, and my colleague has the same - she covers AoSC and composition. AoSE happens in Y13 for us, along with finishing AoSA and the brief comps. Hope this plan is helpful!
