This handy Christmas themed Multiples of 6 maze is a great activity for children to consolidate their understanding of multiples of 6. Children have to help The Gingerbread Man find his hot chocolate. A great activity for early finishers, independent work or intervention groups.
Made for Primary 5, but good challenge for Primary 4 class and useful for revision for Primary 6.

A card matching activity on pie charts. Suitable for GCSE Maths and Functional Skills Maths. Learners have to match a set of 9 frequency tables with their matching pie charts. To do so they will have to work out the angles from the data given on the frequency tables and then match them to the corresponding pie chart. To do this they will have to measure the angles on the pie charts with a protractor. A fun and engaging activity on working out angles in pie charts and measuring pie chart angles that I get learners to work on in pairs.
I use this is an activity within a pie chart lesson but could be used as a starter or plenary.
This place value Boomcards deck will help reinforce your students understanding of base ten numbers (ones, tens, hundreds, thousands) and place value.
Students have to write numbers as digits.
This resource is self marking so requires no input from the teacher. There are 20 digital self checking cards (with 20 randomly played in a different order each turn) so each game the students play will be different.
