These clip cards are a great way to test students’ knowledge of times tables using a physical multiple choice system. It includes all times tables from the 2’s to the 12’s, and contains questions in the form of n^2, as well as one bonus card 0x9. The given possible answers have been carefully chosen to allow teachers to spot any misconceptions students may have about their times tables.
The idea of this activity is that students work our the answer to a given times table question, then clip a clothespin/peg or a paperclip to what they think is the correct answer.
This activity works equally well when the cards are laminated. Students simply circle the correct answer using a dry erase marker. Alternatively, you can print these on paper, hand out to your class at the end of the lesson, so they can put their names on and circle the correct answer, serving as a great exit ticket/plenary to the lesson.
These cards are in colour, but print equally well in grey scale for cost savings.

This Times Tables card game is a fun way for students to practice their tables while playing a game. Chose 4 times tables to play. Included are all the tables from the 2’s to the 12’s. Shuffle the cards and then deal all the cards to all the players. The player with the 7th card of the highest times tables plays this card first.
For example, if we were playing with the 2 times tables, the 5 times tables, the 10 times tables and the 11 times tables, then the highest times tables we are playing with is the 11’s, so the player who has the card 77 in the eleven times tables suit (11x7) plays this card first.
Players then take it in turns to play the next in the sequence, either up or down, or play another starting card, which is 7 times what ever table the suit is. These starter cards have a double boarder to make them stand out.
A full set of rules are included as well as easy-cut guides to make the preparation of the game fast and simple.
The game is played similar to the classic card game sevens/parliament, but with times tables.

This is a quickfire and competitive card game that makes triangle construction fun and enjoyable. It helps to develop skills in being able to construct triangles with three levels of difficulty; given two sides and an angle, two angles and a side, and three lengths. You will need a ruler and protractor for each player.
Break your class into teams, or have each member of the class compete. Turn over a card and students must construct that triangle. First player to complete an accurate construction wins. Each difficulty of card is a different colour, so you can easily differentiate the cards.
Answer sheet for players, and an answer key is provided. Players will need a pencil, protractor, metric ruler and compass for the hard cards.

These KaBoom cards are a fun way to practice times tables, with differentiation built in. Players choose whether they want to choose an easier question (red), but will receive less points for their correct answer, or risk a more challenging question (green) and gain greater rewards.
The red cards consist of questions in the 2, 5, 10 and 11 times tables including some pictorial representation. The Yellow Cards consist of questions in the 3, 4, 6 and 9’s. The green card consists of times tables questions which students commonly get wrong such as 6x9, and consists of the 7, 8 and 12 times tables.
Begin by laying all the cards out face down (so you see only the number of points they are worth). Players take turns to select a card, either red, yellow or green. The difficulty of the questions will increase. They may also pick up either a Steal Card, giving them a chance to steal from any other player, a Shield, which protects them from the next KaBoom, and KaBoom cards which means you lose all your collected points so far.
Play as a whole class in teams, or print multiple copies to play in small groups around the table. If students get the answer incorrect, or they need some help, you as the teacher decides whether you will allow them another guess or not. Questions answered incorrectly go in the ‘house’ pile, along with any cards lost in a KaBoom. At the end of the game, add up the ‘house’ pile. The winner is the player or team with the highest points (including any shield cards that have been unused). The house can win.
Included are two copies of the game; one designed for a double sided printer and one designed for single sided printing where you need to turn over the pages yourself to print double sided.
Full instructions are included as are answers.

The first worksheet introduces students to the concept of finding fractions of amounts using unit fractions (with a numerator of 1) as a division sum. It also includes a fill in the clue puzzle. The second worksheet expands on this concept, by introducing the idea of finding fractions of amounts as being division of the denominator (splitting the amount into groups) and multiplying by the numerator (counting how many groups we want).
The third worksheet is a puzzle where students link the two similar answers with a straight line that goes through a letter. The letters spell out a famous mathematician. The first differentiation of this includes a reminder of how to find fractions of amounts.
The fourth worksheet consists of a collection of fraction questions about a clock maker. It consists of word problems looking at the digits of a clock, minutes in an hour and hours in a day, all in terms of fractions. The fifth worksheet again looks at fractions word problems. Images are provided to help students find the answers. Differentiation 1 includes a reminder of how to find a fraction of amount. Differentiations 2 and 3 consist of a question with more difficulty.
Worksheet 6 asks students to find 10%, 50% and 25% of amounts, and worksheet 7 extends this to include 20%, 5% and 1%. Differentiation 1 of worksheet 7 includes a helpful guide of how to find each percent as a division. This worksheet is a fun maze activity.
