This lesson focuses on what the Eight Fold Path is. It is suitable for KS3. In school we use the accelerated learning cycle to teach our subjects so please feel free to change 'Connect' to 'Starter' and 'Consolidate' to 'Pleanary'. Writing a 'Post Card' in Irish is an integral part of the Junior Certificate (GCSE) exam. After a recent Ofsted inspection our department has come up with a 'Check in System' in for pupils to review how they like learning. This form has worked wonders for us and has allowed us to get to know our pupils, especially our PP pupils (Pupil Premium), SEN & MAP (More Able Pupils) much better. All student need to make progress (Especially since the introduction of the Progress 8 scores)From using these forms we have come up with strategies to help students who are not attaining or reaching their target grades and we have initiated intervention strategies. I stuck this into the start of my Year 10s Spanish book this year. It's a simple list of the Themes & Topics they will study over the next two years.
