Pearson BTEC AAQ in Health & Social Care Unit 1 Human Lifespan Development complete delivery teaching package, adaptable to suit your teaching style for C2 Health and social care promotion and prevention
This unit is completely resourced in individual packages also on TES.

This package has 64-slide presentation with pause points and lots of teacher guidance in the Ppt notes, to support teachers that are out-of-subject. Included is also a 25-page student booklet with activities and exam practice tasks. There are 2, 4 and 6 mark questions, plus two 9-mark question to practice using PEE as an answering technique and accompanying student-friendly mark scheme as a learning tool.

The content covered is:

C2.1 Vaccinations: purpose and role; herd immunity.
C2.2 Age-related health checks and screening: newborn hearing screening; growth (height and weight) and developmental milestones (infants); hearing and eyesight checks (across all life stages); NHS health check (diabetes, hypertension, height/weight, blood pressure, blood test for cholesterol); early cancer screening (cervical, bowel, breast); dementia screening.
