Spanish Personal A Fill In the Blank, 15 Translations and Reference - Students practice the Spanish Personal "A" with 15 fill in the blank sentences that they must also translate to English. Some of the verbs used are: hay, tener, ser, visitar, oir and ver. Also included is the answer key and Personal "A" reference sheets which come 2 per page for student handouts, and also full size for classroom presentation purposes.

Included are 2 pages, each with 10 descriptions of subjects that students must replace with subject pronouns. Students can write the responses on the Smart Board, or on paper for viewing together as a class. Spanish New Year Future Tense Sentences and Conjugations - Students translate 10 English to Spanish New Year resolution sentences, each starting with "In the New Year". The sentences include resolutions to help at home, be kind, recycle, do well in school, etc. A sample sentence is, "In the New Year, I will practice my trumpet every day." Students also conjugate future tense verbs in the tu form under 7 clip art images and conjugate 10 more future tense verbs in various forms. The worksheet includes comer fully conjugated in the future tense and a vocabulary box with 9 words and phrases to assist students. The answer key is included.

French Toy Box Sketch and Label Activity with Vocabulary List - Students sketch and label several of their favorite toys. The download includes a 28 word bilingual vocabulary list copied 2 per page for paper saving student handouts. Sample toys include blocks, board game, doll, action figure, jump rope, puppet, stuffed animal, and video game. Students will enjoy sharing their creations which makes this a great speaking activity. Spanish Christmas in School Poem - Casi Es la Navidad - This take-off from "Twas the Night Before Christmas", is a fun activity to use in the weeks leading up to the Christmas/winter holiday. It has the same cadence as Clement Clarke Moore's famous poem but focuses on students in the classroom just before Christmas and the new year instead of the atmosphere in and outside of a home on Christmas Eve. Unmotivated students jumping on desks suddenly begin working to prepare for the new year which gets their Spanish teacher very excited.

Each emergent reader booklet contains 8 pages: the title page with 7 additional pages containing common French words associated with Chinese New Year. Words included are lanterns, fireworks, gifts, dragons, envelopes, food, and rooster for Chinese New Year 2017, which is the Year of the Rooster. Suggestions for using the booklets and an assembly instruction page are also included.
Students first read and cut out the booklet that contains text and illustrations and they then sketch and create their own version using the text only template.
The illustration version can be projected in class to present, review, and practice pronunciation of the vocabulary. The text only version can be projected onto the Smart Board and students can draw pictures on the Smart Board that correspond to the text.

1. 10 labeled rooms, plus garage, patio, and hallway
2. Each room word is underlined and the contents of each room are labeled with arrows pointing to many of the words.
3. There are over 50 images labeled with French words.
There is also one page with images that students can label.
Uses for this resource:
1. Present and practice vocabulary
2. Labeling assignment for students
3. Practice prepositions of location - give each student a copy of the diagram. Dictate 2 words and have students determine an appropriate French preposition for the words.
4. Students write about each room of the house using the words contained in each.
Also included is an additional page with suggested uses.
Students practice agreement in number and gender of people nouns such as man, woman, boy, girl, etc. and descriptive adjectives with this 18 question worksheet. An example is "the athletic woman." Students first translate it to Spanish and then write the plural forms in the second column. They are also instructed to write a Spanish adjective under each picture shown. This activity can be used when introducing body parts, and also works well as a sub lesson. After students complete the puzzle, they can work in pairs to quiz each other on vocabulary using the vocabulary reference sheets.

Spanish Family PowerPoint Project - Students love this project! They enjoy creating the family projects on the computer, presenting their projects in class and viewing the PowerPoint presentations created by their classmates so they get a lot of practice with family vocabulary and grammar. Students must create a 6 slide presentation that includes information on birthdays, age, physical and personality descriptions and the verbs gustar and encantar for likes and dislikes. They get substantial practice with the verbs tener and ser.
The project contains the following:
