A 12 week Powerpoint of lessons. Design and make a Clay face inspired by Picasso and Cubism.
The Powerpoint contains the following:
Lesson 1 - Drawing an enlargement of a Picasso face

An important, hard hitting assembly for older children. It begins with kindness and being kind to each other. The assembly then highlights White Ribbon Day which is concerned with Domestic Violence and Coercive Control. It comes full circle back to being kind to each other at the end.
A seven week Food Technology package of a word document recipe list that can be emailed to parents and individual Powerpoint lesson instructions to go with the recipes. I used this with Year 8 in October 2023 but it would also work with Year 9.
The recipes are - Caesar Salad, oat crumble, Quesadillas, Breakfast
Muffins or Chocolate muffins, noodle salad, mini quiche and pancakes.
The recipes have been tried and tested and all worked successfully with my students.
An Art Sweets powerpoint project that can be used with KS2 or 3. Students will explore Oil pastels, collage, paint and coloured pencils before designing and making a mixed media Sweet inspired image.
A student guide to planning a 2D Art final piece or outcome. The help sheets cover the background, objects, shape and composition of the final piece. They contain visual examples and written explanations. We find this really helpful at school and the students end up with well planned final pieces.

A stimulating assembly about Interesting places around the world. It begins with interesting schools around the world and the conditions that some children have to learn in. It then moves on to unique places such as Lake Hillier, the pink lake, and the darkest town in Norway.

Lessons 1-6 are described with an individual slide. The classwork consists of drawing, painting and collage lessons.
Lessons 5-6 describe designing a final piece of the students own design, inspired by American Indian art.
The slides contain lesson objectives and grade descriptions using examples of past student’s work.
An approximately twenty minute Assembly about 7 famous artists for KS3-4. There artists are Picasso, Van Gogh, Warhol, Kahlo, Kusama, Monet and Da Vinci.
There is a powerpoint of pictures and a word document of writing that explains the artist’s work. This has words for pupils to read out and drawing tasks for the audience to participate in. A printable handout for the audience to draw into is included in the powerpoint.
A 10 question quiz is included at the end of the assembly.

A 6-12 week Pop Art musical instruments project.
Students will discuss Pop Art and copy a piece of of Pop Art.
Students will draw musical instruments, design a composition of overlapping instruments and then paint using acrylic paint.
There is a musical collage project as an extension exercise.
