This is a 15-20 minute assembly, PSHE or tutor time session covering what the Prevent strategy is. It includes some videos and discussion points around Prevent and information about how to spot signs of radicalisation. This was originally delivered to KS3 and KS4 but could also be suitable for KS5 (Ages 11-18, Years 7-13). There are no written tasks in this presentation, it is an overview of these topics in line with the PSHE and Citizenship curriculum, SMSC and Fundamental British Values. It could also be used in an assembly or whole school setting as a quick reminder of Prevent and Radicalisation. It can be lengthened or shortened depending on the timing of the session. The videos are downloaded so will never disappear. Students reacted well to this session and some important and interesting discussions were had.

This is a 15-20 minute assembly about positive language. It covers the important topic of being positive, watching what language we use to communicate to others and using positive language online. It was used as an assembly for KS3, KS4 & KS5 (Ages 11-18, Years 7-13, Grades 6-12). It covers: Why it is so important to show positive language in school The power of words Important quotes and two downloaded videos that will never disappear How we can show positive language What situations we need to show positive language How we can support cyberbullying Code of conduct Reflection slide with thinking questions and positive quotes There is a slide for you to add your Pupil Code of Conduct or behaviour policy or you can delete this slide if you prefer. The session is all narrated but this can easily be changed by deleting the icon on each slide. This fits into the new RSE & Health Curriculum, PSHE & Citizenship, tutor time, whole school activity or a whole school assembly with links to SMSC, Character Education and Fundamental British Values. This is a 15-20 minute assembly about the dangers of ketamine. This is suitable for upper KS3-KS5 (Years 9-13, Ages 13-18) and fits well into the new RSE & Health curriculum, the PSHE & Citizenship curriculum as well as the Keeping children Safe in Education Safesguarding document. It contains: What ketamine is The dangers and risks of the drug Discussion about the class of the drug A short video clip about how ketamine can affect you A short video clip with a case study about addiction and the consequences of taking the drug There are no written activities in this session only discussion tasks but it could easily be lengthened to last a whole lesson. The video clips are both downloaded so they will never disappear! This session was received well by the students and covers an important part of modern day drug education.

This is a 10-15 minute assembly or tutor time PSHE or Safeguarding session which is fully narrated and designed for KS3, KS4 & KS5 (Ages 11-18, Years 7-13). It outlines: What peer on peer abuse / child to child abuse is Why stopping it is so important How students can access help and support The 9 protected characteristics of the Equality Act How peer on peer / child to child abuse affects someone Signs of a negative relationship Pupil code of conduct How pupils can show positivity at school and form positive relationships Definition of peer pressure and the need to create an equal community There are discussion questions and quotes to aid discussion and these can be turned into written activities if you want to make this session last a whole lesson. There are two downloaded video clips that will never disappear and it is narrated although you can delete this by just deleting the icon on each slide if you would prefer. This session contributes to ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’ and the new Relationships & Sexual Education and Health Education. It also highlights 51ºÚÁÏ, British values and can be used as part of the PSHE curriculum. It can easily be adapted if needed but covers all the necessary guidance. Pupils have responded very well to this presentation in the past and I have updated it for this year.

I have taught this both to Year 8 and Year 10 and it has been received well by all students and improved their learning about Christian pilgrimage. It is suitable for KS3 & KS4 (Aged 11-16) as part of the Religious Education KS3 curriculum or AQA pilgrimage part of Christian Beliefs GCSE topic.

This is a fully resourced lesson about how Martin Luther King’s Christian beliefs influenced his actions. It has an excellent starter sheet, carousel activity, discussion tasks, written tasks and an interactive plenary. It goes through the influence of the Bible, group prayer, being a pastor, non-violent protest & Jesus. It includes information on Civil Rights but its focus is on Martin Luther King’s Christian faith. This pack includes everything you need for this lesson which has been graded Outstanding by Ofsted and included in a Summary report for a secondary school. It has a full lesson plan, differentiated questions, a powerpoint, worksheets and an interactive powerpoint plenary. This plenary can also be adapted and used for other lessons. Buy this and have one lesson for Ofsted totally planned and resourced for you. This lesson is suitable for KS2, KS3 or KS4 (Ages 7-16). It was originally a 60 minute year 8 lesson but can easily last 90 minutes or it can be shortened if needed.

This is a PowerPoint covering the different types of Sewa with special emphasis on Langar. It includes logos, discussion tasks, written tasks and has no worksheets. It was originally planned as a 90 minute lesson for Year 7 but can be used for any KS3 or KS4 class and easily adapted for a shorter lesson. There are videos and extension activities for further study.

This is a worksheet that contains the six main religious symbols, their places of worship and their symbols. It can be used for pupils to cut out, match up and stick in their books, can be printed on card to become a reusable match up starter activity or it can be used for display or creative work purposes. This is suitable for KS1-KS4 (5 - 18 years old) and can be used in tutor time as part of the cultural diversity part of the PSHE programme or as part of an Religious Education or Citizenship lesson. It is not in colour due to photocopying!

This is a 15-20 minute presentation to teach students about how to master self-disciple. It gives practical tips, definitions and has a 9 minute video with discussion tasks which is downloaded so it will never disappear! It has no written tasks as it was originally a PSHE session for tutor time for KS3. It is also relevant for KS4 & KS5 (Ages 11-18, Years 7-13) and was received well by many students. It covers the Key Skill Curriculum, the new RSE & Health Curriculum, Character Education, PSHE, Citizenship and can be used as an assembly.

This handout has two Guru Nanak miracle stories on so they can be read as a class, complete a role play or storyboard about the events. This is suitable for KS2, KS3 and KS4 (Ages 7-16) to widen their knowledge about Sikhism and introduce stories about the first Guru.

This is a 15 minute assembly about exam stress suitable for KS3, KS4 and KS5 (Ages 11-18, Years 7-13). It is especially useful in the run up to any periods of assessment or exams. It covers different ways and tips to manage exam stress by three downloaded short video clips that will never disappear! It has some discussion questions but this session could be lengthened by students writing notes and their own revision plan if you needed it to last a whole lesson. It was originally a Year 9 tutor time PSHE session about the importance of looking after student’s mental health in the run up to an assessment period. It fits into the new Relationships & Health Education, the Mental Health agendas, Keeping Children Safe in Education, Careers and Exam Skills and the PSHE Curriculum or it can be used as a whole school resource as an assembly.

It can be used for whole school, KS3-KS5 (Ages 11-18, Years 7-13) but was originally a tutor time PSHE session for Year 8. This is a 15 minute assembly about positive relationships. It can be used as part of tutor time, a whole school assembly for 11-18 year olds or as part of a lesson or on an online learning platform. This can be used for PSHE, Citizenship, SMSC, Tutor Time, Assemblies, Whole School days, Online Platforms and teaches the students how to have positive relationships in their lives. It talks about prejudice, discrimination, bullying and aims to teach students how to have positive relationships. Students responded really well to this whole school assembly.

This is a 15-20 minute assembly about finance. This is suitable for KS3-KS5 (Ages 11-18, Years 7-13) as a focus on finance education or PSHE or a standalone assembly. It covers: How it is best to manage your money Key financial vocabulary Video about banks, money and credit Video about how compound interest works A financial acrostic poem activity Each video is downloaded so will never disappear and introduces students to financial vocabulary. It was originally a PSHE tutor time session for Year 8 but is suitable for a wider audience. There are no written activities but they can be adapted to last a whole lesson if required.

This is a lesson which centres around the Coercive Control BBC documentary. It was originally a set of 2 x 90 minute Citizenship lessons but can be adapted easily. It includes written activities and discussion points as well as extension tasks, definitions, moral issues and sources of support. It has already engaged lots of students and taught them the law and issues surrounding Coercive Control. It highlights how to spot coercive control and leads to some excellent discussions among KS4 and KS5 students. It is fully narrated although you can easily change this by deleting the icon on each slide if you would prefer it not narrated. It fits into the PSHE and RSE & Health Curriculum and can be used to highlight and learning to spot and stop abusive relationships. It is suitable for KS4-KS5 ( Ages 15-18+, Years 10-13, Grades 10-12).

This is a 15 minute assembly or PSHE tutor time session about grief and bereavement. It was originally a Year 10 tutor time presentation but is suitable for KS3-KS5, Ages 11-18, Years 7-13. It covers definitions, different coping strategies and goes through the grieving process. It also has a slide of support for students coping with bereavement and three short downloaded video clips that will never disappear. This fits in with the new RSHE curriculum, the PSHE curriculum and the Keeping Children Safe in Education document.

This was originally a PSHE tutor time 15 minute session on Character Education and how to be a have a good character for KS2, KS3 or KS4 (Years 5-13, Ages 9-18). It can be shortened to 10 minutes or lengthened to 25 with discussion activities. There are no written activities in this powerpoint, just discussion tasks, a video that is downloaded so will never disappear and information for students to think about and discuss. This follows the Character Education guidance released by the DfE and the new Relationships & Sex & Health Education Curriculum in 2020. Students responded well to this session.

This is a 15-20 minute tutor time PSHE session on charity volunteering. It can be used as a whole school assembly for KS3, KS4 and KS5 (Ages 11-18, Grade 6-12, Years 7-13). It does not have any written tasks just two downloaded video clips that will never disappear and discussion questions so students can find out what they can volunteer for and why they would benefit from voluntary work. This can be lengthened or shortened to fit a tutor time, assembly or a lesson for PSHE, Citizenship, Fundamental British Values, SMSC and Character Education. This is a 15-20 minute assembly or tutor time PSHE session on keeping safe both walking to and from school, in the local community and online. It can be shortened or lengthened to be used for a whole lesson. It follows the Relationships, Sex & Health Curriculum introduced in 2020 and explains how students can keep safe. It was delivered to KS3, KS4 and KS5 with excellent feedback. The PowerPoint contains videos, discussion tasks but no written tasks.
