This lesson follows on from the second lesson on age. It introduces short form adjectives and the way they change for gender (primarily focused on masculine and feminine). It fully explains and introduces the concept of grammatical gender and how you can spot the gender from endings. Activities include games, translations and gap-fill activities. Relevant challenge activities are included as well as a vocab learning homework on the final slide. This lesson is the first of two lessons focusing on descriptions and introducing adjectives in Russian.

This lesson follows on from the first lesson on descriptions. It introduces normal form adjectives and how they differ from short form adjectives in use and structure. There is still a focus on grammatical gender (primarily focused on masculine and feminine). The grammar points included includes: prepositional singular and plural, genitive and plural, nominative plural, dative case singular and adjectives in nominative and prepositional case. There are activities focusing on explicit grammar and grammar in context, including gap-fills and reading. This lesson is the first of two revision lessons for the “Appearance and Personality” unit of work. The second lesson, which follows from this one is focused on vocabulary revision.
