This series of workbooks will cover programming techniques which works in line with the new J277 specification. The breakdown is as follows: CS28 – Computational methods CS29 – Searching & Sorting algorithms CS30 – Writing algorithms CS31 – High-level languagres CS32 – Basics of programming CS33 – String manipulation CS34 – Selection CS35 – Counter-controlled iteration CS36 – Condition-controlled iteration CS37 – Subroutines CS38 – Data Structures CS39 – File handling Each set includes a teacher and student version. The rest will be part of a bundle.

I’ve been working on creating a series of workbooks for Cambridge Technicals in Digital Media and in particular Unit 1. They’re very versatile, they could be used as a revision activity, good for differentiation, build on from flipped learning or a good remote learning activity - these workbooks have worked well for my students during lockdown/closures.

This pack covers all eight planning documents in the R093 specification. Each topic includes: A walkthrough PPT, modelling appropriate answers and guidance on how to assess 9 mark questions. An exam style question for discussing suitability of documents and improving them. Each question comes with a model/exemplar answer.

This is one of the first of four practice papers for R093, each provided with a mark scheme. It’s been mapped against the specification and follows the structure outlined by the exam board. In addition to this, it’s accurately weighted against the PO’s. Full version of Paper A is available.

The full R099 teaching and learning pack which includes: 12 lessons that cover the R099 specification. Each lesson includes a teachers toolkit which provides further guidance on content delivery, assessment requirements and some exemplar material. This is a sample teaching and learning pack for one of the lessons in Unit 2. Most lessons will include the following Lesson PPT A section to complete in the NEA scrapbook in preparation for the Controlled Assessment phase. Step-by-step tutorials for the practical elements of the unit. The final version will come with a full SOW with commentary and a practice assignment brief to work from. None of the scaffolded materials should be used in the final assessment. This is just for teaching & learning purposes.

A great resource that encourages students to build more descriptive answers. A keyword bank is provided in which students are recommended to use this as a reference point.
