Children would need to read and understand the chapter Teacher can model analysing quotes using the worked examples on slides. On the slides, there are 2 more quotes for children to analyse and if a lower class or group, children can work in pairs.

This resource can be added to a book corner to entice children to read the opening chapters of popular books in the hope they fall in love with it and read the rest. All QR codes work and link directly to pdf of the text. Book appropriate for Years 3 and 4, but of course, can be used higher up the school depending on the ability of the targeted children.
