Our Christmas poster on traditions has been so popular that we decided it needed an update. We have now divided the topic into two posters. The first poster focuses on traditions like the origins of the Christmas tree and Santa Claus. The second poster focuses on the origins of traditional Christmas foods.
We have also produced these posters to our standard specifications. That includes supplying them in seven sizes to match American and International paper sizes.
Also changed is the font size. The font used on these posters should be legible if printed in smaller sizes of A4 or 8.5x11 inches. That means they can be given as handouts to students. You can also supply these as digital files for student devices. Just save the A4 file as a PDF.
POSTERS INCLUDED

This educational Science poster shows theworlds main biomes and includes photographs of each. The poster is suitable for middle to senior school Science classes.
Sizes
The poster is supplied in two standard educational poster sizes:
American paper size: 18 x 24 inches
International paper size: A2 (42 x 59.4 cm)
File Types
We have supplied four zipped files, including two for 16 x 20 inches and two for A2 42 x 59.4 cm. The first of the two files is a high-resolution 300 dpi RGB colour jpeg. The second file is a high-resolution 300 dpi CYMK colour PDF.
Why an RGB and a CYMK colour file?
RGB jpeg files can be printed at places that print posters (Walgreens & Walmart (US), Officeworks, Big W, Harvey Norman (Australia), and Warehouse Stationery (NZ) even though they automatically convert them to a colour-compatible CYMK file.
If you print your file through a printing company, they will probably want a print-ready, high-resolution 300 dpi CYMK PDF. Therefore, the second file has been converted to CYMK colour and includes all necessary printer’s marks.
Returns Policy
We are not able to accept returns for digital items. If you have a problem with your order, please let me know, and I will try my best to help.

Our new eBook, Activities for Teaching History Skills, contains over 50 activity suggestions. Also included are lesson plan exemplars and completed examples of graphic organisers. This book will suit teachers of history students from ages 12 to 17.
Here is the first paragraph of the introduction on why teaching history skills is so important in today’s world:
“Teaching history skills to students is an invaluable part of their education, offering far more than just a knowledge of dates and events. It fosters critical thinking, empathy, and a deeper understanding of our complex world. According to research by Barton and Levstik (2004), learning history equips students with the ability to analyse, interpret, and evaluate various sources of information. These skills are increasingly vital in our information-rich age as they enable students to discern bias, recognize different perspectives, and appreciate the context of events and decisions, both past and present”.

NINETEEN-EIGHTY-FOUR -GEORGE ORWELL
Although Nineteen-Eighty-Four was written by author George Orwell in 1949, it remains as relevant today as when it was written. The dystopian world of the protagonist, Winston, is one in which the Party controls even its citizens’ thoughts under Big Brother’s watchful eye. We have brought the characters to life based on the description of each as given in the novel and placed them in a setting which reflects their character or role in the narrative. Each poster briefly introduces each character and includes six words accurately defining the character.
The 7 characters in this set are:
Winston
Julia

The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald is a novel set in the Roaring Twenties, a time of excess, glamour, and social upheaval in the United States. The story is narrated by Nick Carraway, a young man who moves to Long Island’s North Shore and becomes entangled in the mysterious and extravagant life of his neighbour, Jay Gatsby. Through Nick’s eyes, the novel explores themes of love, wealth, social class, and the American Dream, all set against a backdrop of longing and disillusionment. Gatsby’s unrelenting pursuit of his idealized vision of Daisy Buchanan, the woman he loves, drives the novel’s tragic narrative.

Studying the Origins of World War One is a standard topic in many high school History Curricula. This teaching package includes a highly detailed and carefully designed presentation using maps, statistics, and contemporary cartoons to explain how Militarism, Alliances, Imperialism, and Nationalism each contributed to the outbreak of war in 1914.
Accompanying the 22-slide PowerPoint presentation is a 26-page Teaching e-book. This has been designed to serve a dual purpose. A teacher can use it as notes while presenting each slide, or each page can be printed as a handout for students. Each page in the e-book matches one slide. The notes are designed around the types of questions students might ask, e.g., What caused the growth of militarism in Europe? Particular attention is given to explaining the role of nationalism, as this is often the most difficult for students to understand. Also included is a countdown explaining the July Crisis, from the assassination of Archduke Ferdinand to Britain declaring war on Germany.
