Building emotional confidence through reflection and self-awareness

In this reflective final episode of Mindful Moments with Miss Harrison, children are invited to look back at all the emotional skills they’ve gathered during the series—and to organise them into their very own emotional toolbox. Through the story of Ethan, who learns how to use his toolbox during a difficult day, pupils explore how emotional tools like empathy, teamwork, and deep breathing can help us manage real-life challenges with confidence.

This empowering lesson helps children recognise their growth, boosts emotional independence, and nurtures a sense of calm self-belief that they can carry forward into everyday life.

Teacher Guide – A comprehensive 12-page teaching guide with a full lesson plan, vocabulary suggestions, differentiated scaffolding, discussion questions, and strategies for supporting whole-class reflection.
