Materials:

A large grid drawn on a whiteboard or a large piece of paper. Each cell in the grid should contain a matrix.

Matrix question cards with problems to solve.

Markers or different colored sticky notes for each team.

How to play:

Setup: Create a grid or “maze” with an entry point and an exit point.
Fill each cell with a matrix.

Gameplay: Teams take turns drawing a question card. The card might ask them to solve a problem like:

Find the sum of two matrices.

Calculate the product of two matrices.

Find the transpose of a matrix.

Move: To move through the maze, the team must correctly solve the problem on their card. The answer to the problem will correspond to one of the matrices in the adjacent cells. Once they find the correct cell, they place their marker on it.

Winning: The first team to successfully navigate through the maze from the start to the end wins.
