A LEVEL - ELIZABETH I AND THE RELIGIOUS SETTLEMENT
These A Level lessons focus on Elizabeth I and religion with specific attention to interpretations of history.
They include 4 studies:

A LEVEL DEMOCRACY AND DICTATORSHIPS IN GERMANY,1919-1963. KT2 LESSON 7 SCHACHT AND ECONOMIC RECOVERY
This is the 7th lesson for Key Topic 2, A level democracies and dictatorships in Germany. It focuses on economic recovery in Nazi Germany with a focus on the work of economist Schacht. The powerpoint contains all of the resources, however a text book is useful. Tasks are built in and involve research; analysis of statistics and evaluating the success of Schacht’s policies.

THE CUBAN MISSILE CRISIS FOR YEAR 9
This lesson is part of a scheme of learning that was made for Year 9 on the Cold War. It is particularly useful for those who are not intending to study this at GCSE. This lesson is intended to make the students think through being put in difficult situations and having to make decisions fast. It requires high level thinking skills with a specific focus on the skill of evaluation.
It covers the Cuban Revolution; Bay of Pigs and the Missile Crisis.
This resource can also be used for GCSE units, and will take about 2 hours to teach.

This is a bright and colourful display of various aspects of Anglo-Saxon life. Each card can be blown up; laminated and displayed, and shows pictures and gives information about different aspects of Anglo-Saxon life.

A LEVEL - HENRY VIII'S FOREIGN POLICY
These lessons were created for AQA history A Level unit 1C, however can be used for any post 16 study of the Tudors.
There are about 5 or 6x 1 hour lessons included in this power point, and they provide the opportunity for historical investigation into the three distinct periods of Henry VIII’s foreign policy and his attempts to secure the succession. It contains a variety of teacher led and student led learning opportunities culminating in a judgment regarding the success of Henry VIII’s foreign policy.
END OF TERM QUIZZES AND WORDSEARCHES FOR YEAR 8
This resource contains 3 quizzes and word searches on Year 8 topics.
The students have to find the words by filling in the gaps using their historical knowledge, and then locate them on the grid. The resource contains 3 quizzes/word searches:

There are also 3 differentiated searches for lower prior attaining students where the letter at the beginning of each word is highlighted in the grid so that this becomes more of a heads and tails activity.

GCSE SPAIN AND THE NEW WORLD PRE-EXAMINATION REVISION LESSON
This lesson was created as a last minute revision lesson for those students taking EDEXCEL GCSE History Spain and the New World unit.
It covers a range of topics and involves revision and practice of all of the different question types as a reminder of structure and assessment objectives.
Approx 2 hours to teach
THE NORMAN CONQUEST AND LIFE IN MEDIEVAL ENGLAND GROUP QUIZ AND INDIVIDUAL WORDSEARCH
This is the last lesson on the Norman conquest and life in Norman England. It is a fun lesson which involves a group quiz on the topics covered, followed by an individual quiz and word search consolidating learning about the Normans. This should be used for year 7.
KS3 CIVIL RIGHTS UNIT OF WORK. LESSONS 8 AND 9 MALCOLM X AND LBJ
These are the eighth and ninth lessons of a key stage 3 unit of work based on the enquiry: Was Martin Luther King the most significant individual in winning the vote for black Americans in 1965?

V.E. DAY IN THE HISTORY OR ENGLISH CLASSROOM
These resources covers skills required for success in English and Historycontain everything you need to help students understand the significance of VE Day.
The first resource contains an assembly (approx 20 mins) and an extended writing task for a lesson. The whole power point would take about an hour to teach and involves drawing on historical and literacy skills.
The second resource is a n alternative lesson which investigates the morality behind the bombing of Dresden - students use a wide range of historical source material to carry out an investigation and reach a judgment.
The final resource can either be used in a history lesson or a tutorial as a starter or fun activity to test knowledge in the form of a quiz/wordsearch for VE Day.

A fun activity for Easter. Answer 15 questions associated with the Easter Story and find the answers in the word search. Could be used as a starter or main activity in an RE lesson, alternatively as a tutorial activity in the run up to the Easter holiday. This activity would take between 20 and 30 minutes to complete.
