Marcy and the Riddle of the Sphinx planning, resources and smart notebook for 3 weeks writing an adventure story. Week 1 contains 1 bank holiday - 4 days planning and resources including 1 day using talk for writing to learn the structure of the story Week 2 - 5 days planning and resources teaching and embedding the skills needed for writing an adventure story Week 2 - 5 days planning and resources based on modeling and then writing own stories

Using the Mini Grey book Traction Man and based on some T4W techniques. Weeks are based on 4 sessions Week 1 - includes gathering vocabulary, inference and drawing a story map. Week 2 - includes grammar skills lessons using Traction Man. Week 3 - includes using the structure to create their own adventure and writing up their story.
