An original text for reading and comprehension practice. It can be used basically with Year 7 and Year 8. It comes complete with questions on the text plus vocabulary and grammar exercises. Complete answers are given for all the questions, together with ideas of how to use the text further.
The text is lively and fast-moving, with a twist at the end, hoping to catch the students’ attention.
A worksheet on the uses of past tenses with certain keywords including for since and ago, still, already and yet, after, before and while, plus the structure of conditional sentences. Aimed Year 8 and Year 9 students, learning English as a second or foreign language. Can also be used for revision with older classes.
The questions are all multiple-choice, a,b,c, or d.
