Ms. O'Toole's classroom

I am an English, Geography and EAL teacher in Ireland. I make and share a wealth of resources, primarily basic EAL resources for older learners. Many of the resources online for EAL are aimed at small children and do not suit my learners, hence my decision to make and share the kinds of resources I do.

Geography : Information tags for international women's day.

The front of this resource has an international women’s day message, and the back some information on an inspiring female geographer who may not be well recognized in the textbooks. There are 5 different geographers recognized - Marie Tharp, Clover Hogan, Barbara Washburn, Harriet Chalmers Adams, and Zonia Barber. The sale also includes a Canva link, so the buyer can edit the ‘‘to’’ and ‘‘from’’ sections before printing if desired. When using these with my own class, I printed them and laminated them, and attached them to a bag of jellies for each student.
