The Iron Man comprehension with set activties for the children to work through - Activty 1 is for the less able children Activity 2 and 3 for the rest are open ended activities I found it went very well and can be used as either a reading lesson or English lesson - good for the children to think about the answers at Year 3,4 and 5 ! Enjoy !

Resource and lesson stand alone to help with the writing of speech with attached resources also - reminders of how and when to punctuate and coloured activties for children at different levels - enjoy !

A railways project activity sheet for homework to complete over a term study and learn in a different way - A fantastic way of engaging the children into the subject and study !The presentations were great to see and this give them real scope to be creative and an easy homework to mark !

Embedded clause lesson ideal for year 5 and 6 and geared to children of all abilities with clear progression ! Ideal for the first teaching of this and as a class - Super progression from the activty sheets also - The headteacher gave me good with outstanding for this lesson ! Enjoy and use as you see fit !

Spag starter ideal for coming into lesson to from break and lunch and can be edited and amended as necessary ! For Year 5 and 6 (and below) this was a great way to start the lesson as it was engaging and straight away got the kids to think and be active !

European study Homework Task to empower the children to be creative - This can be adpated to any age group including secondary and I have used this to great success ! The children have come up with some great thought and have relished sowing and telling to their classmates !!

Stand alone Modal verb lesson ideal for year 5 and 6 in the run up to SPAG work and general English and grammar lessons A great and child friendly resource !!!

Semi colon activity and powerpoint lesson combined- ideal for Years 5 and 6 English lessons and worked very well as a standard alone grammar lesson to aid childrens learning - progression within the lesson also here through staged activities

An introduction Powerpoint to the Year 4 text in relation to the World War II topic looking at this in English with included video clip also - This is a great lead into the book and has 2x challenges also for the children to complete. A great cross subject piece and super to get the class to understand the beginngs of World War II and its effects- any questions do ask away !

There`s a Pharoah in our bath - continue the story stand alone lesson as a powerpoint with then levelled pieces/colours for the children to work on to write a continuation - Great book for Y3 and Y4 to study and hopefully this should get some good writing for you - A starter activty also built into this to start the lesson on word classes

Pronouns and enclosed worksheet through this PPT presentation - ideal for year 3,4 and 5 and with included progression - I have used this for a few years and year groups now and they like the entertainment within the slides and engages all the children throughout - enjoy !

Basic sentences to improve starter to the lesson - ideal for any Key Stage class for after break or lunch or even as they come into school !

Aboriginal Art flip chart that breaks the work down into stages and looks at the history of Art ! A great stand alone flipchart that can easily be used over 2-3 weeks with the children using pen, paint or pencil to help them complete this ! A great resource even for the none specialist ! Ideal for Primary teachers particularly KS2 but would work with year 1 and 2 also !

Ancient Egypt Homework sheet ideal for the children to be creative in their work ! They came up with fantastic junk models, art work and even poetry and powerpoints of their own to show the class from this homework resource - A fantastic resource and saving hours of time - Fully editable to your spec - Do use !

Pack of word class cards - ideal for the children to practice and revise key word classes - ideal for spag practice and revision generally throughout the school year with display also here- I got the class to write the particular word on the word class display sheet to create and add to the working wall - A great and invaluable resource and suitable for all year groups for Key Stage 2 in addition this can be used across school and particularly helpful for year 2 ! A flipchart for a number of lessons based on a theme approach for the Iron man - this includes making a trap for the iron man, and other stand alone activities that would be very helpful to cover in a theme approach particularly covering art, DT, geog and history, in addition to thought provoking discussion on a PSHE slant throughout. Ideally used as a class approach with the book which is great story ideal for years 3,4 and 5 as these resources are also ! Enjoy !

Iron man painting in the style of Roy Lichtenstein - and information Powerpoint folowed by resources and ideas and instructions for the kids to paint the iron man face with picture to print also in order to help you do this - A great painting lesson I have now completed with years,3,4 and 5 whilst studying The Iron man book and the cross curruicular links are fantastic here ! A super opportunity for kids to get painting !!!

A short powerpoint on drawing hands to then replicate and build upon to draw the Iron man hand escaping from the trap - I did this with a year 3 class who to be fair stuck at it well and we created some great pieces of work -This would be great to do over 2-3 weeks as I did to support them I would perhaps show them a video on the drawing of hands also - Great lesson though for an afternoon to focus on theme - Art and DT - feel free to use as you see fit for your class whilst studying the Iron man !

Stone age to iron age flipchart - ideal to start the topic and build upon as the term goes on - great lesson ideas for the week and term here - The kids did love the activties here to engage in the topic !

Alphabet challenge activity - ideally for transistion or to lead into a PE lesson if it is too hot for running around PE !!! Identify around the school grounds 2 or more things that begin with that letter as the example e.g p- playground and then get the kids off identifying their school environment ! Ticks the outdoor learning box ! And can be used well across all age groups even secondary if needed !!
